Under The Milky Way’s international network is made of film industry professionals allying experiences in production, distribution and marketing. All film-enthusiasts and fervent users of new technologies, our network is both experimented and multicultural.
Under The Milky Way is present on 4 continents, and currently covers a total of 110 countries available for movie releases on local VoD platforms.
Pierre-Alexandre Labelle
Co-founder
Pierre-Alexandre transitioned from derivatives trading to co-founding Under The Milky Way in 2010 after launching a VoD platform in France and roles in European projects.
Alexis deRendinger
Co-founder
Alexis co-founded Under The Milky Way after many years at CANAL+ and StudioCanal where he managed the transition of its catalogs to digital platforms in North America.
Muriel Joly
CEO
Muriel joined Under The Milky Way in 2013after having worked in the Video department of StudioCanal and on the Canalplay VoD Platform.
Océane PortaL
International Distribution Director
Océane has a Master's in Global Management from the Bordeaux Management School. She started her career at Canal + before joining Under The Milky Way where she oversees international distribution.
Philippine Rousseau
France and BENELUX Manager
Philippine has a Master's degree in Media, Public and Digital Cultures. She previously worked for Gaumont, TF1, Lagardère and M6. She is now in charge of distribution in France and the Benelux.
Aleksandra Czyz
Scandinavia, Italy and UK Manager
Aleksandra oversees front and back office activities for Scandinavia, Italy and the UK after gaining experience at Gaumont.
Angele Atlan
US and Canada Manager
Angele holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts at the University of Concordia, and she now oversees UMW digital distribution for Northern American territories.
Pascale Dillemann
Spain and Portugal Manager
Pascale has worked in the Spanish press for over 10 years before holding roles in film distribution and production. She joined Under The Milky Way in 2011.
Vincent Lucassen
Germany Manager
Vincent founded WILDart FILM, co-founded dok.at, created DocuZone Austria, and joined Under The Milky Way in 2011 to oversee multiple European regions.
Hélène Petrovitch
Ingestion Data Manager
Hélène has a background in data processing, sales reporting, and system integration. She joined Under The Milky Way as Sales Data Ingestion Specialist.
Maxime Attard
IT Director
Maxime gained extensive experience at Deloitte Montreal as Senior IT auditor until 2010. He then joined Ubisoft where he worked for 14 years as Senior Manager Digital Distribution. He joined Under The Milky Way in 2024.
Lilian Devermelle
France Manager Assistant
Lilian, with exprience at Warner Music France, joined Under The Milky Way as Philippine Rousseau’s assistant for France and Benelux territories.
ROSA DURAN
Scandinavia Manager Assistant
Rosa had previously worked for Under The Milky Way and rejoined the team as Aleksandra Czyz’s assistant for Scandinavia, Italy and UK.
